Sometimes when you release a perfect record, like The GO’s "Howl On the Haunted Beat You Ride", you want to show the listeners where the songs evolved from. Many songs go through a morphing period and as time goes by you think "whoah, the original was pretty wild too!" So a year and a half after the aformentioned release, THE GO, have unleashed a 20 track 2xLP collection of what is the "Alternate" Howl LP. Tracks 1-9 are the alternate version of the record. Tracks 10-20 are a fantastic collection of acoustic/electric demos! Some versions are radically different & mindblowing. The recordings are as high quality as the versions that were already released. Plus, on this release, the fans get no less than 10 tunes that have never been released in any form! A double album! This is the 2nd time THE GO have released a killer collection of demo tracks (check out "Supercuts", if you can still find one!) & the vinyl was the 1st split release for Bellyache & Italy Records!
