A collection of Pop, Rock, Dance, R&B love songs with Latin influences.

The “Secrets Of My Love” album is a culmination of Johnny’s best musical influences on a Pop level fashioned as a compilation of love songs. Refined with League of Artists Producer Charlie Lewis, these new songs not only bring Johnny’s songwriting and vocal abilities to light, but also his recording engineering and electronic production talents. Conceptually written about loves many secrets, Johnny sang, wrote, performed and programmed his new songs in house at Brace For Impact Records in Grand Prairie, Texas. Johnny approached this album one love song at a time with just him and his acoustic, but each tune directed him into the many popular styles of music with hints of his Latin influences.

Love has many secrets and with the release of Johnny’s current album and subsequent promotional tour the best-kept secrets are finally coming to light, his love for Pop music.

The opening song “Mi Chula” has strong Latin rhythms and Johnny’s bass playing pushing the song. “Flavor Of Love”, an R&B number, has Johnny bringing intimacy back into love with lyrical lines such as “Refine me in the flames of your heart”. The title track “Secrets of My Love” is a heavily influenced Spanish rocker song with Johnny’s characteristic acoustic guitar under the drive. “Reserved” a pop dance song has Johnny’s love solely set aside. The power ballad “You’re My Diamond and Ruby” has one of Johnny’s memorable chorus’ flowing throughout the tune.

Another R&B number “Your Elegant Love” with Johnny’s vocal and lyrical formulas sets the tone for real love hidden away. “My Lovinful’”, with it’s acoustic guitar and pop rocker lines, has simple but memorable acoustic guitar riffs as well as chorus’. The song “Flatter Me Deep” with it’s danceable vibe and subtle rock guitars has Johnny down with the madness of her love. “Die and Flip This Love” with its poignant music poetically proclaims love never dies with lines such as “We’re not some faded epitaph, romantic figures on stained glass”. The Dance song “Velvet Red Sweet Dream” caps the album on the club dance floor with more of Johnny’s great vocal and lyrical abilities.
