Sometimes putting a "Latin" spin on a jazz standard is just that - and ends up lacking any credibility.

However, David Gonzalez takes Yesterdays, It Ain't Necessarily So and Roll 'Em Pedro(??) and makes it all work.

Gonzalez is an appealing singer and works very well with driving horn arrangements that sound like versions of the old Chico O'Farrill and Mario Bauza models.
