Feel-good, high energy music is back, and it comes in the form of a pop-rock group named GOODER. Formed in 2000, the rock trio has made the rounds in the Valley of the Sun, infiltrating the Tempe music scene and hitting the hot spots. Along with being a staple act at many venues, they have also become a continued part of PF Chang's Rock and Roll Marathon, Super Motocross at Bank One Ballpark, IRL Racing Series at Phoenix International Raceway, and also toured Greenland for the Armed Forces Entertainment division of the US Military.
With the release of their self-titled CD, Gooder is sending a message loud and clear. That message is to rock with them and you will be certain to be satisfied and hungry for more. "Our goal," says J. Scott Gavin, "is to get people moving. The best way to do that, is to lead by example. That's why every one of our shows is filled with enough energy to boil over off the stage. We love what we do, and we want everyone at our shows to have just as much fun as we're having."
While it's nearly impossible to harness all of Gooder's live-wire energy, listen with a careful ear and should the urge strike to tap your toe, Gooder understands and recommends shaking an arm or two as well.
