Album Notes

Having played 157 cities in 48 states, this LA-based but Kansas bred power trio could possibly be the hardest working indie band in the business. Namesake, guitarist and vocalist "Gooding" recently helped soncially rebrand CNN, CNNi, PBS and AandE. Listen to the DVDs of Walk the Line, The Animatrix, Children of Men, or Nip/Tuck and you’ll hear the bands widescreen rock; or possibly you have already heard them in the background for commercials for Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler.

Gooding and his band of brothers, Jesse Rich and Billy Driver, have been touring for 8 yrs. Their live shows are infused with energy, raw emotion, and steller musicianship, Gooding is slowly but surely becoming known as one of the best guitarists around. Audiences witness what is almost a secular church revival, with sticks and strings left all over the stage, and a final act of GOODING playing two guitars at once.

Gooding and the boys have performed for our troops at over 12 Army, Marine and Air Force bases including Edwards, Pendleton, Cherry Point, Fort Stewart and Fort Meade. The band was invited to perform at Walter Reed and recently invited to tour the White House.

Gooding has been named by John Hope Bryant as the latest Celebrity Ambassador for Operation HOPE; America's first non-profit, public benefit, investment banking organization. John Bryant has worked with Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama to bring financial literacy to America's underprivileged. Gooding joins other Ambassadors such as Quincy Jones through personal appearances and mass media presentations focusing on their Five Million Kids (5MK) initiative.
