Experience the sometimes funky, sometimes ethereal folk rock sound of The Good Intentions! This CD includes several tracks that singer/songwriter Kathryn Leigh Kirt recorded in Nashville and several more that she recorded in Tulsa with Elizabeth Thompson, the other Good Intention.
Kathryn grew up in Jacksonville, Illinois where she sang in all of the choirs she could find. Her parents were singers too, and they often sang big band songs together in three part harmony. Kathryn wrote her first songs at a girl's camp on Tomahawk Lake in northern Wisconsin. Now she can be found playing with The Good Intentions around Tulsa. The band, with new additions Jim Tilly on mandolin and Jay Lesikar on keyboard, was included on this year’s Holiday Harvest CD.
