Album Notes

This CD offers beautiful melodic playing from Gordon James on flugelhorn and muted trumpet. His muted trumpet playing are reminiscent of Miles Davis. The CD has guest appearances by guitarist Chuck Loeb and the legendary trombonist Slide Hampton on the classic track Compared to What. There is also a wonderful guest vocal from Jason Munnerlyn on the romantic original ballad Like No Other.
Other songs include the sexy bossa nova Rio Moon, the beautiful Gloria Estefan ballad Here We Are and the stirring latin samba, Passionate Heart.
