these songs are pictures and vessels of my feelings. I believe these beautiful things happen when I am no longer alone. These songs were born when I felt almost too much love, and when I realized that one couldn’t hold onto those moments forever.

Yuiko underwent rigorous classical music training throughout her youth at the Toho Gakuen School of Music.
Before reaching adolescence, Yuiko's flawless technique and advanced interpretations of classical pieces proved her to be worthy of the title virtuoso.
Yuiko won a variety of illustrious piano competitions and performed in countless recitals throughout Japan. Upon graduating from the Toho Gakuen College of Music, Yuiko was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and moved to the United States to continue her studies.
While at Berklee,Yuiko met an Argentinean band Los Changos , a colombian singer Marta Gomez(Bllboard Nominee), and Brazilian Music such as Milton Nasicmento.
Yuiko studied with a Brazilian Pianist, Composer, Arranger, Producer the renown Jetro DaSilva. This meeting to a new musical and cultural world brought herto a journy of Brazil.
Yuiko learned how to communicate her most cherished memories through her music and realized that everything in the environment can act as a muse. Yuiko´s time in Brazil planted the seeds of inspiration that would eventualy grow into the 12 songs on her debut album, Two.
In 2002, Yuiko was the only Berklee pianist to receive the Emmanuel Zambelli Scholarship in Classical Piano Performance.
Yuiko accepted the prestigious award at the conclusion of her own solo piano recital, where she performed a program of Chopin and Liszt compositions.
In 2004, Yuiko performed Liszt´s Piano Sonata at the Steinway Piano Society Concert alongside some of Bostonßfs most renowned pianists. In2005, Yuiko's Oiginal Song "Mi" inspired by a far island was a finalist of International Acoustic Music Award.
Currently Yuiko is working on energy of love and playing based on Brasil
