A "Must Have!"

Love this CD! A lot of creativity mixed with excellent production. Really like “Alien Girlfriend”. Waiting for an opportunity to play it for a friend who really needs to hear it. The coolest tune is “You’re the One for Me” The bass playing is choice! “Skitzo” has a Steppin Wolf kind of groove, another favorite of mine. “I’ll Take You there” has that soulful ate 60s groove thang goin on. The title cut, a kind of laid back spacey tune has a great message. So do most of the tunes in the album. I highly recommend this album as one of those that grows on you every time you listen to it. It really has something for everybody’s musical palette. (Even my fussy one)

DID YOU EVER LISTEN TO A SONG AND FEEL IT HIT YOU IN THE HEART WITH A MEMORY OF A SPECIFIC EVENT OR MIILESTONE IN YOUR LIFE? THIS cd DID THAT FOR ME,B UT, DID IT WITH SEVERAL SONGS.AN ANONOMOUS CHRISTMAST GIFT WRAPPED IN A CD BABY BOX OPENED INTO MORE THAN A RANDOM BIT OF MUSIC TO LISTEN TO. 2008 HAD BEEN A HARD YEAR FOR ME PERSONALLY AND FINANCIALLY. THIS WEIRD DIFFERENT CD GAVE ME A FEELING LIKE SOMEONE ELSE WAS WHERE I HAVE BEEN IN LIFE AND MANAGED TO CAPTURE IT IN MUSIC. NOT ONLY DID I THINK THE PRODUCTION WAS GREAT, BUT, THE SONGS WERE TIMELY AND RELEVANT. THERE WERE 2 SONGS THAT I DID NOT LOVE, BUT THOUGHT THEY WERE DONE WELL, MAYBE I AM TOO YOUNG TO RELATE.... BUT THE REST OF THEM ARE INCREDIBLE. A LOT OF DIFFERENT STYLES,GENRES AND THE EMOTIONS THAT FOLLOW. I LIKED THE MUSIC, THE MESSAGE AND FEELING THAT LIFE IS PRETTY GREAT EVEN IN HARD TIMES WHEN YOU CAN PUT THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE. IT IS A GOOD DARN PIECE OF CREATIVITY AND I HOPE IT MAKES IT ONTO THE MAINSTREAM VENUES SO OTHERS CAN HEAR SOMETHING OF SUBSTANCE INSTEAD OF SO MUCH EMPTYNESS THEY CALL MUSIC THAT MAKES IT THESE DAYS. 4 STARS, 2 THUMBS UP AND HOPE THIS BAND GOES FAR! I happened onto this record by accident. It is a real tribute to independent music of all genres. There is a song for every age from 17 to 70 to like. The production is great and yet not too perfect like many modern records are these days. Some of these songs seem like they'd make great songs for a movie. Maybe because it is different and full of variety is why it appeals so much to me. Hope they do another album and that they make it into the mainstream music arena! I listen to this CD at least 2 times a week!
