Album Notes

Kentaro, sole member of Gozzolop, was born in Tokyo in 1976. Impacted by Led Zeppelin and Van Halen, he started playing the guitar at the age of fourteen. Upon entering high school, he made his first band playing Heavy Metal and Hard Rock tunes. He gradually opened up to the other kinds of music like British rock and pop.

In 2001, just a week before the 9/11 incident, he moved to the U.S. and joined the NJ-based band, Ifwhen, where he played bass and became interested in Techno music.

In 2003, Ifwhen released its seconed album, "We Will Gently Detroy You," and has been appearing at local clubs on the East Coast. In the spring of 2005, Kentaro commenced his solo project, Gozzolop, and its debut album was released by Mar Creation on November 1st, 2006.
