G PLAYAZ -Biography-

G PLAYAZ is a group of Hip-Hop Rap artist with a down south flavor that will make you want to get up, nod your head, bounce. They bring to the stage over 17 combined years of cultivated talent, which makes up one powerful, easy listening professional group of well seasoned artists/musicians.

It all started in February of 2002 when D-Smoov, one of the members of the group contacted a well known local Independent Record Label based out of New Port News, VA, who goes by the name UNTAMED RECORDES, LLC. ®
Baby D (CEO-President) and Silky Cat (Vice President) signed D-Smoov, 7 Starr, General, Hard Head, and Majestic to a recording contract and have released there first album entitled "HOME GROWN" on July 31, 2002, which the hot single from the album entitled "No Worries" was no. 1 on WBHH 92.1 FM for four weeks in a row and rapidly climbed the charts on CKTP 95.7 FM in Canada.

In the early part of 2004, the Record Label and the group kept going strong with performances all over the southern area. Also with the Low Down Boyz currently the group has been working on its new album "DUTTY" and traveling on their mini tour "Summer Jam Wild Out Tour", which will be released later. The new single from this album is called "GET CRUNKED" which the video is in the making. This record is surely going to turn heads in the music industry very fast to let everyone know that Untamed Records and the Low Down Boyz are coming and they are coming harder and smarter than ever. Later in 2005, D Smoov spread his musical talent when moving to the Missouri area and met up the artist named ILL B from Mississippi who also just moved to the area. Ill B and D Smoov formed the group called G PLAYAZ. Together they immediately started recording and now have completed an EP that will be released on Oct 17th 2005. The Album "A Game" is one of the newest and hottest albums to hit the streets.
They have done many performances around the eastern coast districs and ofcourse Down South with other major Artistin 2006 (D4L, ect...).

"D-Smoov"
D- Smoov was born in CA raised in FL. Down South to the bones. He has been writing and performing for years. His versatility and multiple talents are unlimited. He also produces some of his own tracks and is very into the business. Most of his songs are a dirty south style with high energetic vocal. His energy is contagious to the audience once he gets on the microphone.

"ILL B"
Raised in the lows downs of Mississippi, has been writing for years since the age of 12. His laid back flavor adds essence to the style of the group. His musical influences are David Banner and is Mississippi to the bone.

They really know what 'hard work' means. They also know how to have fun and keep the drive up. For those reasons, this makes them very easy and fun to work with.

They have been performing individual solo as well as a group. They have performed at several local clubs since 1998, also performed at BET Sound Stage, Sara Cuise in New York, and clubs in Korea in 2000.They have already proved that they are marketable both nationally and internationally, and will take their hip-hop music career to greater heights.
