A collection of 13 songs inspired by one of Gram Parsons personal journals. The historic release feature performances by noted artists including The Woodys, Carl Jackson, Jim Lauderdale, Leslie Satcher, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Larry Cordle, James Buton and others.

"When former Parson's band mate John Nuese asked Nashville's hipper alt-county types to finish off some of GP's lyrics, it could have been a "Free as a Bird" style disaster. Instead they create some gorgeous moments like the Woodys' soulful take on "A Song For You" and Jim Lauderdale's aching "Blessing For Being".

country radio instead of this bad pop music?
