Album Notes

Grandevolution is:

Sarah Kollett-Guitars, Vocals
Mike Gendron-Guitars, BG Vocals
Joe Baron-Bass
Scott Kenyon-Drums

Since forming in 2001, this New England based alternative rock group has been working hard to establish themselves in the over-populated music scene. Due to their skill and talent, they've made it pretty far in the local scene without the help of a manager or talent agent. Having graduated from college with a degree in Music Business Management, Sarah handles the booking of shows and all legal matters. Scott designs and maintains www.grandevolution.com, and also provides the band with promotional materials including business cards and bumper stickers.

In 2001, Grandevolution released a 6 song EP. The EP was distributed to various clubs, radio stations, and print media in the northeast. After receiving some attention from promoters and college radio, they began playing out more and more often. Now, in 2003, they have started working with an independent label out of Boston called Opedro Records. Over the course of the year, they've been busy writing, rehearsing, recording, and playing live shows.

Although inspired by artists such as Radiohead, Neil Young, Butch Walker, the Dandy Warhols, Soul Asylum, and countless others, Grandevolution focuses strictly on original material. The music of this female fronted group is edgy, loud, and melodic modern rock. If the band stays on it's current course, success in the music business will not escape them for much longer.
