The Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra is West Michigan's premier Big Band Jazz Ensemble and has recently featured some of the world's top Jazz Musicians such as Phil Woods and Randy Brecker as guest artists.

Several of the members have been voted "Jazz Musician of the Year" in the Western Michigan area, including legendary drummer, Tim Froncek and the intrepid pianist, Steve Talaga. Featured soloists is internationally recognized trumpeter, Dan Jacobs;
