I bought the cd at a live concert in Chicago,Mr.Grant tore
the roof off the place!!I've played the cd at work and home
so much I think I've worn the disc out!!Fast,slow,medium or
funky this guitar wiz can do it all,he is the most requested artist on my radio show(the ladies LOVE Teardrops Fell a sensitive slice of life song,the guys jam on Wanna git wit u and Body Talk).Can't wait to see this
brother on the tube getting a Grammy or some other award!!
Vocally he reminds me of Ron Isley or Al Green,not bad company to keep,ya know!

Groundbreaking R&B with a Pop flavor!

As a professional producer and engineer I feel uniquely qualified to offer an objective review of Mike Grant's Body Talk cd.Two words that come to mind are Heart & Soul,because the performances and songs are heartfelt and
meaningful on all levels,a rarity in today's music climate.
Body Talk is a teasingly provocative dance hit by any standards,Teardrops Fell is a real tear jerker for sure,(the kind of song that can become a signature tune for an artist).The varied production flavor from song to song really made me sit up and take notice,as I write this I am also contacting several friends in major label A&R who will hopefully be contacting Michael about future career opportunities.
