Album Notes

High energy rock and soul featuring an electrifying 4-piece horn section.

The eight multi-instrumental men pushing Gran Torino cut their chops on old school Rhythm and Blues, rock, jazz and funk.

"I like the concept of trying to bring back a more classic R&B sound," explains Chris Ford, lead vocalist for GT.

When the four-piece horn section throws its soul out over two hard-charging guitars, it's like gasoline on a fire.

Fanning the flames are bass, drums, piano and organ. It's a sound that builds upon itself.

Help spread the word, and experience Gran Torino for yourself.

REVIEWS

Truely, great Jam! Incredibly explosive debut album from the leader in R&B/Funk
author: David Kyle
Capture an amazing expeience in this this debut album. Gran Torino explores all aspects of their style and more. From When I grow Up, where they really introduce some horns, to the hard -hitting guitars in perfect harmony with the horns in Steveland, to depths of a mysteriously deep journey in and out of the Sedan Lucky jam. As a fellow Knoxville musician, these guys truly mastered the art of a great album, and is almost as incredible as a live show experience.
