ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This project seemed to come out of nowhere. A group of local, seasoned musicicans wanted to scratch the Mighty Itch of Rock. What was created astounded everyone involved. Graphite Symphony blends progressive, technical musical styles with great melodies and lush unconventional harmonies (a.k.a. "sick vocals!"). Musically they've been compared to Dream Theater, Fate's Warning, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. The vocals have been compared to Alice in Chains, King's X and Def Leppard. What started out as a studio project is developing into a full fledged live act. If you're looking for a band with great lead and acoustic guitars, intricate keyboard solos and string arrangements, amazing drum tracks and all made palatable with inspired melodies and harmonies, you've just found what you're looking for.
