Album Notes

With the release of their CD My Endless Parade, Keith Johnson and the Grassy Knolls emerge on the scene with a unique sound and eclectic style of modern music.

Combine cellos, acoustic guitar, piano, some electric guitar and bass, then throw in a melodic soul singer lamenting the words of a jaded poet. Add an engineer and a piano/guitar virtuoso, both equally jaded but with highly relevant credentials, hence you have the Keith Johnson and the Grassy Knolls.

Johnson, an effective solo singer in his own right, is well enhanced with the sound of Grassy Knolls. They are:

Jack Gallup - piano, acoustic guitar, bass: Two-time ASCAP award winner for composition/arrangement, Gallup has recorded extensively and opened for acts such as Arlo Guthrie and Richard Thompson.

Jim Price – violin, viola: Jim has shared the stage with the likes of Henry Mancini and Doc Severson.

Greg McFarlane – drums: Greg is the drummer for famed rock/reggae group Ipso Facto, who have toured extensively with international acts such as Tracy Chapman and UB40.

Additional players:
Amy Samelian – cello
Dave Dean – electric guitar
