Album Notes

Christy Gravely grew up in San Antonio, Texas, playing the flute and singing since the age of 9.

After high school she auditioned for and joined the US Marine Corps Band, which took her to Japan, New Orleans, and cities all over the U.S. where she performed with the rock and country bands that entertained thousands of Americans, Japanese citizens, and overseas military.

In New Orleans she began playing the rhythm guitar and has been writing songs and accompanying her own country voice ever since in local bands, including Jon Beaumont and Stonecreek, in New Orleans and Dallas, Texas.
