ABOUT THE ALBUM
GRAVE ROBBER is one of those bands that understands how to captivate! Whether they are wearing GWAR-like costumes in concert, dousing their fans with fake blood or running around with chainsaws, their music cuts to the heart of life and death! Their tunes are instantly sing-able, filled with insanely catchy harmonies, and mostly played at blazing speeds. But they go a step further and captivate with intelligent lyrics - all wrapped in their devotion and love for all things HORROR! Yet, there's more to Grave Robber than masks and horror, and fans that take time to unpack that mistique are in for quite a surprise!
Wretched (vokills) and company (Lamentor, Carcass, & Plague) are back with the band's sophomore full length, on which the band spikes their punk with a much more muscular and metallic edge! Every song is a hit, with the manic "I'm Possessed", melodic rock classic "The Night Has Eyes", rock-a-billy influenced "Tell Take Hearts" and the dark, sinister metal of "Valley Of Dry Bones," the band shockingly pulls off morbidly funny and real-life relevant! Horror punk metal got its start with the Misfits, but with Inner Sanctum, Grave Robber offers much, much more!

REVIEWS

Horror Punk with BRASS BALLS.
author: N.A. Pacione -- Author: Damnation Observes

I am openly a huge fan of Danzig and this reminds me of Misfits when they did Green Hell. The funny and shocker on the album is Tell Tale Heart -- I was expecting a dark Edgar Allan Poe descriptive horror yarn here, but I am pleasantly surpised by this one. It shows their range -- most punk bands don't have the vocal range that Grave Robber has. I have the import version and if you want the full enjoyment of this don't get the domestic version because there is a treat for Black Sabbath fans. I loved their rendition of Children of the Grave -- that is the balsiest thing I've heard on the album. I listen to mainly secular thrash metal because I read a lot of books, Metallica introduced me to H.P. Lovecraft and because of that I am a horror writer. As a horror writer I have a lot of respect for these guys coming in with a shitload of dark humor. The way they say Rape in the song is something that takes massive balls. More balls than Crashdog. I can hear the Alice Cooper in there -- Hey guys if you're reading this you should do a rendition of Welcome to My Nightmare. I am actually a vocalist if you're looking for a guest for that track drop me an e-mail. I am impresed with how well versed that Wretched is with horror films -- I actually seen some of them, I actually got the book Pet Semetery -- tried to read it but got too busy with hte writing and editing. I would actually toss this CD in when editing the new issue of the magazine -- I am curious to see how they are as horror writers if they can come up with lyrics like this. They have a wicked imagination. Hey Jonathan -- you might want to get the import version of this. There are a lot of metallic yarns on this album for a very short album. Valley of Dry Bones is one of those they should hit up Scott Davidson for radio play on RebelRadio.com.

I used to like Danzig, Misfit and others bands, but now that I change my life in to Christ, I start to listen only to christian music. I was looking for some bands that plays great music and good christian or spiritual lyrics, and i found great music here in CDBaby. Thank you so much.
