Album Notes

The unholy birth of Graveside Rockers occured on Halloween night of 2003...a night I'll never forget.

I take you to St. Bastard Cemetery, you've probably seen it...it's right off of the 126, towards the hills in the outskirts of Ventura. My job was an easy one, simple, peaceful, maybe a bit lonely. I was the Cryptkeeper...I guess you could say, I worked the Graveyard Shift. However, on this particular night...all hell broke loose. Three teenagers decided that they were going to break into the cemetery, cry about how hard it is to come from a wealthy family, and write bad poetry. As the tears hit the damp soil, and the air was filled with the cries of those who had never known true torment, the fury of the dead awoke...

Sitting in my chambers, I heard the whimpers of the weak become the screams of the terrified! I'd like to say that I rushed out to see what had happened, but I'm an honest man...I hid in the darkness, my breath fogging with every pant. When all had been still for some time, I ventured to the stones where I thought these misfortunes had taken place...

I had never seen anything like it before, and pray to God that I never will again. The bodies of the three teens were in peices, mutilated, half eaten...twitching! Through the fog I saw three open graves and three ghastly figues making their way out of the moonlight, and into darkness beyond our place of rest.

They've been known to appear and reappear in various places. If you get a chance to see them, satisfy your curiosity, but just don't get too close...

Great psychobilly album. Some tracks really stand out, but the album has no filler. Good, aggressive music, strong rhythms, solid harmonies - this CD has everything you want in a psychobilly record and more.

I really like this CD alot. It is almost a mix between Blazing Haley and Dead Kennedys. I love both of those bands so it was easy to get into Graveside Rockers

Hard & Fast!
author: Shaun
Being a big fan of Blazing Haley I was thrilled to find some of the guys had resurfaced in the form of the Graveside Rockers! Before even hearing the sample tracks I knew the musicianship & song writing was going to be top notch, this CD is filled with some pretty aggresive psychobilly that rocks hard & fast, not suitable for pussies!!!
