Album Notes

Gravy specializes in foot stomping, chicken picken country rock and roll with a touch of psychedelic jam. Recreating the "outlaw" country sound of the 60's and 70's, Gravy has played such great events as the Redneck Olympics and The Demolition Derby. You will only find these guys in the dumpiest of dives in Arizona and Colorado. Cosmic counrty boogie for two steppin and occasionally a slow one for some skoal swappin'.

Influences - Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Jerry Jeff Walker, Merle Haggard,New Riders of the Purple Sage, Little Feat, The Band, Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, Flying Burrito Brothers,Grateful Dead, Pure Prairie League, Marshall Tucker and The Allman Brothers

Now here is a band of hooligans I can admire! A no-class, low budget, dive playin' bunch of cut-ups on a mission! Ya gotta love FEED MY MONKEY or TEQUILA PLEASE...no Nashville crap here! One problem though... the steel guitar players rulebook states: You cannot wear dreadlocks! This cd sounds better while drinkin' beer!
