Album Notes

Spend a Saturday Night with Gray Ghost - one of the South's Premier Southern Dance Bands - Recorded "Alive" at the Bloody Bucket Bar-b-que & Grill (whose location is SECRET but rumour has it that it's located somewhere in the backwoods of the Carolina hills)

A whooping good time with one of the best Southern Dance Bands in Dixie! A mixture of Blues, Country, Bluegrass, and Southern Rock - actually all the forms of Music which originated in the South and the band members grew up with singing and playing. Musical Instruments include twin fiddles, steel guitar, acoustic guitars, electric bass, dobro, and even a hammered dulcimer!

The whole crowd at the Bloody Bucket truly enjoys this electic mixture of dance music - which is undeniably kept as no secret by their excited applause and sometimes uncontrollable laughter! A truly great live CD of traditional, timeless covers, and original dance & feel good Southern music!

Gray Ghost is led by John Mason, whom was nominated as 2005 Dixie Outfitter's Southern Heritage Music Instrumentalist of the Year.

The group is so versatile musically, as there is really no telling which person will play what instrument and it's a fairly common occurance for the band members to switch instruments in the middle of a song!

Rounding out the band with John is Matt Ritch, Nosmo King, Lolly Pop, Noah Count, Carmella Apple, Hadden South, and Freddie Ray.

"On the inside of the CD Booklet, you will see a list of all of Gray Ghost's musical, emotional, financial, and spiritual influences" - Nosmo King, Guitarist Esq.
