TGM RETURNS! After 5 years, The Great Mistake emerges from the basement with a new EP full of new music. More mature and refined compared to early work, This disc "In-Orbit Volume 1" Begins a story that the next two albums will complete. But why 5 years later? TGM offers their candid explanation in their liner notes....

Dear Friend,

On April 3rd 2005, TGM ventured into the studio to begin work on their first full length album, following the release of their 2003 EP, "Revolutions". This new album was to be titled "Wave To The Astronaut". Band morale was at an all time high as we began to record the songs on this disc. Unfortunately, due to a revolving door of drummers and other band related circumstances the record was never finished. Now that it has been 3 years since we began work on it, we decided to finish what we started. With a new drummer on hand – Mr. Steve Abromowski, we reconvened as an assembled force in March of 2007. We decided to start with a clean slate on "Wave To The Astronaut". So we took the few songs we had already finished recording originally for that album and put them on this EP, titled " In Orbit – Volume 1". Following this, we will release "In Orbit volume 2", which will contain the rest of the material that was also originally suppose to be on our full length. With all of these songs released, we will be free to finish writing and recording what we began in 2005, so stay tuned for WAVE TO THE ASTRONAUT!
