"The Green Onions boast a penchant for heady experimentation, which manifests in tight jamming – not the excessive, hour-long type that runs rampant in the jam band scene, but the succinct kind that harkens back to the days of Hendrix and Clapton."

Album Notes

The Green Onions are a 6 piece band based in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Their musical influences range from the Allman Brothers to Frank Zappa. The group formed back in 2001 and have since built an age spanning fan base of people who are hungry for a classic sound in modern music. Besides the talent of instrumental improvisation, the band has perfected vocal harmonies reminiscent of groups like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The music has a classic rock feel made up of a wide variety of musical genres.
They have just released a full length CD and have already begun recording the follow up. In their time together they have achieved national and overseas radio attention, released a five song EP, performed at the Giant Center Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania and were scheduled to open for Lynyrd Skynyrd in 2004.
The Green Onions continue to tour, write, and record new material on their quest to make their name known in the world of Rock and Roll.
