Album Notes

"Down the Drain" is the second, full-length, studio release from The Green Onions. The album was recorded by the band over the summer of 2007, prior to the departure of bassist, Mike Dinse, and drummer, John Gasparich. With most of the songs written collectively as a group, the album represents the final chapter of the original six-piece band. "Down the Drain" contains 12 moody originals that aptly represent the changes taking place in the band. From the farewell message of "You Walk Away," and the pessimistic title track, to the sweet, southern sway of "Mississippi Moon," the album showcases the growth of The Green Onions' as writers and musicians.
