Song lyrics:

1. GREENROSE'S FAIRE
(T. Hyttinen)

There’s a sign standing on the old country lane
for the fair in the old market square
It’s not far from here ’cause you’re already near
and there’s people from everywhere

Now think of all those magical things you can do
if you’re ready to spend a coin or two
There’s merchants with their colourful stalls
and they’re waiting just for you

So come come come here my darling
Come to the Greenrose’s Faire
So come come come here my darling
Come to the Greenrose’s Faire

The knights are fighting for the favour of maids
the clowns are here for the crowd
The ale is well brewed the glorious food
is what you need right now

So come come come here my darling
Come to the Greenrose’s Faire
So come come come here my darling
Come to the Greenrose’s Faire

The clairvoyant’s tent is the place you must go
to see what future holds in store
You may find a treasure or a fountain of youth
it makes you want some more

The minstrels play their tunes with delight
the merriment reaches the sky
So clap your hands and scream aloud (Hey!)
be sure you will come back next time

So come come come here my darling
Come to the Greenrose’s Faire
So come come come here my darling
Come to the Greenrose’s Faire!

2. SILENT SOUND
(N. Sirola)

Day and night we feast and dine
and hope to hold back the morning
Tonight is the night of joy
Have yourself some bread and some wine
and take this good-will draught

Celebrate for dawn is still far
and the fire is growing stronger
Now put on a cheerful face
Knights and ladies peasants and maids
everyone with the same grace

So tonight gather around
drinks all around
Tonight all woes left behind
the morning will find us
making a silent sound

Raise a toast for friends to be made and
rivalries sooner forgotten
Let spirits fly a-high
There’s a hand my trusty old friend
now give me the hand of yours

So tonight gather around
drinks all around
Tonight all woes left behind
the morning will find us
making a silent sound

3. RAINDROPS
(T. Hyttinen)

She has lived her life by the sea
dreaming about love so real
but now she’s waiting by the shore
for the rain to drown her dreams

She lost her love to the sea
the call of the waves was like a dream
And now she’s waiting by the shore
to see the white sails again

Raindrops
keep falling
keep falling
with the storm

She has lived her life to forget
and days without regrets
But how can she fight she lives by the shore
Her dreams will come back again

Raindrops
keep falling
keep falling
with the storm

There was a time she felt only joy
when the nights were bright as the days
But now she’s waiting by the shore
for the rain to hide her tears

The night is cold when you’re alone
and the wind chills your bones
Now she hopes this night would end
and the tides would bring him back home

Raindrops
keep falling
keep falling
with the storm
