Gregg Koval and his latest album, "Blind Date," is a CD filled with aggressive, gritty, yet fun-loving Rock songs. "Ransom Note" is a song that kicks in with wailing guitars and a chunky bass line as Koval’s vocals enters with sharp flowing tonality. Another song, "Let Yourself Go," is a song that uses a catchy walking blues beat while sweet guitar licks complement the emotive vocals. The track, "Setback," is a good old-fashioned rock ballad in which the hypnotic vocals and well balanced instruments capture a rootsy and melodic ambiance. All-in-all this is an album filled with an energetic collection of straight-up, party-friendly, Rock and Roll.
