Greg Hawkins has played saxophone for four decades and he has ministered musically in much of the United States and Western Europe. Greg has appeared on many local and national television broadcasts. In 1995, he was the instrumental winner in Starsong Records'/700 Club National New Artist Search where he appeared on the 700 Club. Greg's appeal is to a very broad demographic - from youth groups to adults. His mix of jazz, r&b and praise and worship music has blessed thousands.

Greg's newly released, second solo cd, "Heaven" contains a mix of blistering, jazz-flavored r&b and smooth praise and worship. He has enlisted the help of some of the finest musicians in the Southeast. Keyboardist, Kelvin Wooten, bassist, Sean Michael Ray, drummer, Steve Sample and vocalist, Kevin Derryberry come together to make "Heaven" a very special project

A Gospel masterpiece! Starts off with the best arrangement of Amazing Grace I've ever heard, then goes right into my favorite tune on this CD - When We All Get To Heaven. This is a combination of several different styles of music and I never get tired of listening to it from beginning to end. Can't wait for his next CD to be released!

Sax-loving Angels in Heaven Must Be Playing this CD!

This Heaven CD is full of wonderful Gospel tunes, artfully arranged and played by inspired musicians.  The arrangements are fresh, with musical styles that match each song.  There's a bit of classical, R & B/R,   jazz, and smooth jazz mixed in just the right places!
  My favorite song is Amazing Grace and my husband loves both versions of Holy, Holy, Holy.  Danny Boy is a lyrical masterpiece.
  Highly recommend this CD!
