The good Lord invented a metronome that swings hard and his name is Greg Holloway! On this CD the master keeper of time teams up with two fellow musicians bassist Tommy Cecil and jazz guitarist Geoff Reecer and collectively they have "painted" a jazz masterpiece. This is a terrific album with a wonderful selection of jazz standards. In listening to this CD it is obvious that there are three musicians on this recording that enjoy working together. Greg's playing is rhythmically supportive and extremely sensitive to the lyrical playing of his bandmates. If you dig jazz, do your ears a tremendous favor and make this CD part of your "sonic repository". There is much joy to be heard here. Great Stuff !
