Greg Hurley may be a newcomer to the music industry but he is no stranger to music ministry. This powerhouse vocalist's roots run deep in Southern Gospel music. Raised in a minister's home in Montgomery, West Virginia, Greg started singing in church at age three.
The youngest of four musically talented children, Greg's musical gifts began to develop and soon he was playing drums and assisting with the music ministry in his father's church. Greg, Anna and Teresa formed a group known as The Hurley Trio. They traveled regionally and opened for artists such as The Rex Nelon Singers, The McKameys, The McGruders, The Inspirations and many more. The Hurley Trio won two talent competitions and also recorded two independent projects.
Through the years Greg continued singing and began to pursue a solo music ministry. He was called into the ministry in 1993 and began preaching the Gospel. Presently Greg is on staff as Assistant Pastor, Worship Leader and Choir Director at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Montgomery, where his father still pastors after nearly 40 years. Greg, his wife Misty, and their three beautiful daughters reside in Fayetteville, WV.
In 2007 a new chapter opened in Greg's life. He has just completed his debut solo CD project entitled "Satisfied," produced by Twila LaBar. Some of the top writers in the Christian music industry contributed to this project, (Marty Funderburk, Scott Krippayne, Steve Siler, Joel Lindsey, Twila LaBar, Sue C. Smith, Tony Wood, Don Koch, John Lemonis, Joel Guinness and Ronnie Freeman).
Greg's powerful tenor voice soars on tender ballads like "Calvary Calls" and "From the First Time I Saw Love" and soulfully delivers songs like "I Will See You" and "The Call of the Cross." Stylistically "Satisfied" ranges from Progressive Southern to Inspo. Cut #10, "Just Keep Your Eyes on Jesus," (written by Twila LaBar and Joel Guinness), is featured on the Crossroads Sampler and will hit Southern Gospel airwaves in August 2007.
This ten song collection speaks Greg's heart with conviction and passion. Greg's heartfelt adoration for his Savior is obvious on songs such as "Satisfied" and "In My Redeemer's Hands." The listener is reminded that God will never forsake us with the message of hope and faithfulness conveyed in "Just Keep Your Eyes on Jesus." Inspirational Christian artist Allen Asbury can be heard lending his unmistakable vocal talent on the Inspo duet "On God's Green Earth."
Greg's rich Pentecostal heritage can be heard in his soulful delivery of each song. He will be the first one to tell you that God is the giver of all talents. He takes no credit for his ability, giving God all of the glory. Greg's desire is to be used of God. Whether it be preaching the Gospel or singing the praises of our Lord and Savior, Greg eagerly looks forward to what lies ahead and has willingly accepted the "call of the cross." Through the years he has learned that real contentment comes from knowing the joy of the Lord. Greg is blessed to be living a life truly "satisfied" in Christ.

Heard "Just keep your eyes on Jesus" the day my son went to basic training. It really help me to remember that God is watching over my son even when I can't be there.

Was curious as to if there are any accompaniment tracks available for songs performed on the "Satisfied" CD. I thoroughly enjoy the CD and am particularly interested in tracks to "The First Time I Saw Love" and "Just Keep Your Eyes on Jesus". Thanks!
