Album Notes

This is the first sequel to any of our seven CD’s and the reason is simple: our fans wanted it. The idea of the first Sweet Dreaming album was to be a relaxing blend of both classical and non-classical popular tunes, with emphasis on “easy” listening. In Vol. II we continued that idea but in order not to do something too similar we did slightly less classical numbers and added more non-classical that had the same soothing effect as the original.

On a personal note, the song Lara’s Theme from Dr. Zhivago was the
song that my parents most wanted to hear me play. Sadly, they passed away before it was ever done so this recording is a tribute to them and a “Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful life.”

As for Junko, the song Hamabe No Uta (Song of the Seashore) is a lullaby she grew up with and it brings back many wonderful memories for her.
