I really love GaTH's style. I can listen to her music all day and often do leave it on repeat while I do homework or chores. I think that the lyrics have lots of truths that almost anyone can relate to, and the music is beautiful and flows very nicely while still being quirky and interesting. A truly unique sound here.

It was delightful to delve into the basket of audio treats on this little gem. Anyway, enough of the pretenciousness. There is something instantly captivating about Gregory and the Hawk, which is most likely because the music is kept simple, barely anything more than meredith's vocals and guitar, as well as a bassline. The finger plucking is gentle, harp-like, and the singing sweet and innocent. A Wish is my favourite song on this EP, specifically because of the chorus 
"And my blood won't stick 
To the confines of my veins. 
And your heart 
Is gonna tear mine away."
Nice. My only criticism of this EP is how the remixes jar with the mood set by the other purely acoustic songs. This may be less of a blunt transition if the remixes were all at the end, but having the remix of In Fact following the quaint and humourous 'Avalanche! Oh, Avalanche!' spoils the relaxing ambience. But that is just a small irritation on an otherwise enjoyable EP worth having on days where you're stressed and need to unwind. Well done Meredith Godreau :) I hope you have much more anti-mainstream success(because I wouldn't want you or your talent to be corrupted by the power and attention MTV would bring you). Keep making songs and I'm sure we'll keep listening
