This is my first album in the jazz world. My singing roots are in opera and musical theatre. My foray into jazz standards has been so exciting. All of these songs are classics and the only problem I had was in choosing which ones to include on this c.d. I like to be transported when I'm listening to music and it is my hope that you, the listener, will have this same experience. The arrangements were done by Mr. Bruce Eskovitz who also plays saxophone on the recording. The beauty of this c.d. I think is in the unexpected twists and turns it takes musically. I was fortunate to work with incredible musicians on my first project and had such a great time. The magic is in the journey! Please enjoy as you journey through these musical moments of mine.

Ann's voice is amazing - her range and quality. I've heard most of these songs but Ann came through with her personal style and touch - she owned it. The musicians on this CD were fantastic and all together the album is one I will enjoy and share with friends and family.

a rhyme is and never leave you with a timeless lyric or an unforgettable
melody it's wonderful to hear a new CD with songs like "Skylark", "My Ship" and "The Way You Look Tonight" In this album Ann Grennan beautifully caresses the composers' music and gives new shadings to the masterful words by such lyricists as Johnny Mercer, Ira Gershwin and Dorothy Fields.
