Greyshield is the solo project of Chip Means from electronic rock band Red Abbott. The tracks feature guitars, vocals, synthesizers, banjo, some wind sounds and some other stuff. "Almanacs" features the dust buni and Lucy Moore. "Ex-Earth" features bplus, aka Bert Brown, also from Red Abbott.
