ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome to a trip known as Gridstation. A trek towards the unknown to an ambient/abstract musical destination. Convoluted atmospheres with ambient overtones make up the sounds of GridStation. Rhythms are indeed present with various instruments and synthesizers used to create them.

Gridstation created this abstract project for "experimental...yet internuncial music." Sonic textures are everywhere...but cohesive structure is prevalent. Headphones are recommended. Plug in....and bring along your favorite medication.

Jaguar of Integrated Arts writes:

"A reminder to those who believe we are at the center of the Universe, GridStation proves otherwise, by positioning our sonic foundry closer to the outer reaches of the Nebulas. Way beyond the silly smattering of stars we call the Milky Way."

David Opdyke of www.ambientrance.org writes:

"The nightskies above Nashville come alight with glowing new celestial lightshows for your ears. Industrial essences are buried in the deep drum-and-drone of Hysteron Proteron, though a sleek sensuality dominates. Nicely done spacemusic never gets too aggressive"

Relaxing ambient space music
If you are looking to put a some space in your life, this is a great disc to do it. Lots of big, shimmering, and crystaline synths, layered string pads, and supportive beat programming add up to a very nice dreamy, atmospheric experience. Calming and beautiful, a great 'last play' before going to sleep.
