Immortal Griffen, The Donald, Charley Tumahci and a host of other names have been used to describe the phenom going simply by Griffen. With a career which has already spanned thirteen albums, including the 'Jacken Fa Beats' mixxtape series & last fall's 'Drunk Mixtape' release, Griffen pours "Drunk Musik...Tha Gigoloco LP", a toast to life itself and the ultimate enjoyment of moments.

The album is a bridge between his last joint [Insomnia] and the next full-length epic, "Tha Urn" [Coming April 2009]. While 'Insomnia' was more of a West-coast album, 'Drunk Musik' is a ride through Chicago a little under the influence. Okay, waaaay under the influence with 12 brand new drinks properly mixed and splashed with lime and lines.

The LP's production [Private Sector, Beat Science] is inspired by the effects of alcohol, at the same time the lyrical content is the audio equivalent of the addictive properties IN alcohol. Here it is further displayed how Griffen is in a class by himself when it comes to the 'conceptual' album. From 'Gintro' to 'Pass'doutro'... DrunkMusik is a full experience...a bar you walk into that you may not walk out of...

Griffen has been your favorite rapper's favorite rapper for years, and while his "DrunkMusik" effort won't change the face of music...it will most definately get the party live. It stands as the perfect nightcap to "Insomnia" and but a glimpse of what is to come on the much anticipated "Tha Urn" project. Hot business indeed.
