Album Notes

The culmination of a 4 week tour throughout Poland in April-May of 2004 was the Galicja International Blues Festival in Krosno. I was fortunate enough to be the headlining act of this festival. The bad news was that the weather was terrible. For being late May, it was rainy, windy, and cold. The turnout was not as big as expected due to the weather, but the die-hards that made it out were incredible.

I didn't even know that the show was being recorded, which was probably a good thing because it allowed me to just play and not worry about whether or not I was making mistakes. When I received a CD in the mail from the soundman, I put it in and was amazed at the quality of the recording so I decided to release it. There are no overdubs or anything, this is live and raw from the mixing board.

We had a really great time that day, and the whole tour in general was a great success. The people of Poland were truly generous and hospitable, and I thank them very much for such a unique experience and their support, as well as the support of my beautiful wife Laura, whom I dedicate this album to. I hope you enjoy listening to the CD as much as I enjoyed the making of it.
