Album Notes

Grim Gravy’s self titled debut album is eleven tracks of electronic experimentation. Before arriving to this project the two members of Grim Gravy have come from very different musical backgrounds, both of which had not included electronic music until now. Grim (Justin Carder ex Night Conquers Day) is a fan of underground metal and atmospheric music, while Gravy (Andy Mandiak aka Dr. Gravymaster ex Astronomical Unit) is a fan of funk and classic rock. It is within these elements that they had come to call themselves Grim Gravy.

Like someone deep in thought coming to a fantastic realization, the album starts very introverted, and concludes in a celebratory manner. Grim Gravy has provided a musical landscape for the listener to which they can fuse their own experiences.
