Album Notes

Grimmstine features the legendary vocals of Steve Grimmett. Steve has a history that is nothing short of incredible, having what is widely regarded as one of the most powerful and original voices in rock & metal. As vocalist with the legendary Grim Reaper Steve accomplished major success during the 80*s with three highly acclaimed studio albums, along with single releases, MTV airplay, & extensive touring in the States. Grim Reaper videos can often still be seen on some of the major music channels. After Grim Reaper Steve spent a brief period with Onslaught and again enjoyed commercial success, including a single that charted in the UK. More recently Steve's success came in the form of Lionsheart, a powerful melodic metal band whose debut album reached number one in the mainstream Japanese chart. Steve Grimmett now joins forces with guitarist extraordinaire Steve Stine and the rhythm section of the us metal band Sons of Poseidon Dave Johnson on drums and Hat on bass.

Well if your a fan of more traditional; 80's style metal then Grimmstine is for you. Steve Grimmetts vocals really shine on this cd but I think Steve Stines guitar work is masterful. One of the great unknown guitar players around. I had the opportunity to see thier 1 and only live performance in Fargo, ND and it was Grimmtastic.

Well crafted piece of metal! Great memorable songs, nice sounds but some modern influence on some tunes yet takes absolutely nothing away from the impact and punch of this album.Ridiculous shredding from the guitar player and of course the unbelievable vocals of Steve Grimmett. The guy still sounds GREAT! Great stuff and should receive more press...choice.

This album is phenomenal.Steve Grimmett's vocals are outstanding.I think it may be some of his best work! Steve Stine is a brilliant guitarist whose musical ability and technical knowledge put him up in the realm with Satriani! And one of the best rhythm sections in the business today. Dave Johnson and Hat from S.O.P. absolutely tear it up! If you like Heavy Metal you have to get this album. METAL AT ITS FINEST!
