Soulful Music Group LLC proudly presents Greg Roberts and Soulful Celebration. This anointed group of young classically trained vocalists will definitely awe gospel music lovers around the world with their God given anointing, strong vocals and musical diversity. At a time when producers of gospel music are making strides to cross over into "urban" formats, this group is keeping up with the change of the times without forgetting the old school flavors that have brought gospel music to where it is today.

Started on the historic campus of Hampton University in 2000 by its founding director Greg Roberts, what started a mere group of friends coming together to fellowship has grown into one of Southeastern Virginia's most polished and respected singing aggregations. The energy, stage presence and vocal prowess that are displayed with each anointed performance reaffirms this group's destiny to go far in the music industry. In April 2003, the group released its debut project, "All Things: The Soulful Experience...LIVE". This project with its diverse song selection and strong vocal performance was hailed as one of the best independent releases of 2003 by Louis Williams, former owner and webmaster of nuthinbutgospel.com. This debut release won the respect of gospel announcers across the group's hometown and surrounding areas with numerous compositions being placed into heavy rotation on area stations. In addition, the group won first place in WXEZ Star 94.1's "Catch a Rising Star" competition with their churchy up-beat selection, "In the Name of Jesus" penned by Columbia Recording Artist Tyrone Tribbett.
The group has been blessed to minister alongside some of gospel music's greatest talents such as William Becton, James Hall & Worship & Praise, Kim Burrell, Lashun Pace, Nikki Ross-Turnley, Greg O'Quinn, The Righteous Ryders and Rodney Bryant. One of the group's greatest moments was when they were given the opportunity to minister for the release of Kirk Franklin's Rebirth Album along with Pastor Shirley Caesar in Raleigh, NC.

The forecoming sophomore release from Greg Roberts and Soulful Celebration has something for every listener; from the urban up-beat tunes of encouragvement like "Thank You" and "Hold On" to profound songs of worship like "We Worship You " and "How Excellent". The musical diversity and anointing of this group is definitely displayed in these offerings of praise and worship unto a Holy God.
