As the Spirit Records studio ensemble, The Groove Doctors step to the front with their first CD, "House Calls".
"House Calls" contains eleven tracks of all-original new blues/R&B.

Various blues, R&B, and soul influences weave their way through this music. From the New Orleans-influenced "Blue Tattoo" and Spider Woman" to the "50's R&B" romp of "Ellaree", to the straight-up, "late-night" blues of "Drive Me Home Baby", the Groove Doctors cook up a creative "gumbo".

"House Calls" takes a soulful turn when guest vocalist Maria Howell lets go on two tracks, the funk-grooved "Optical Illusion", and "(I Want To) Solve Your Mystery".

Reported Airplay/Clubplay to date on the following tracks:

"Ellaree", "Blue Tattoo", "Corporate Man", and "(Talkin' 'Bout) The Cakes My Baby Makes" have received airplay on over twenty stations and on internet radio featuring blues/R&B programming.
