Album Notes

Groove Movement, founded by Frank Pena, Matt Wolff and Danny Gallegos in the spring of 2001, has been working the local San Antonio music scene for many years. Desmond Fahie and Jordan Slaughter both joined the band in the summer of 2006, contributing vocals and percussion, respectively, and have been around equally as long jamming San Antonio’s music scene. Then, Tiffany Cristo joined in on the groove by adding a classically trained voice to complement Desmond\'s. The overall collaboration amongst Groove Movement is hard to describe because it is comprised of so many different influences. From Soul to Funk, R&B to Hip-Hop, or Latin to Rock and Blues, the bands musical range is vast and ever expansive, constantly taking new shapes and forms from one gig to the next. However you describe the band’s sound a few things are for sure: it’s new, original, refreshing, energetic and innovative.
