Album Notes

Groove's Back Productions is a music production company headed by me, K.Son. Whatever genre music of music that flows from within this studio seems to have some type of jazzy flavor to it (I guess I can thank mom for the nonstop hours of Al Jarreau, Earl Klugh and Bob James while growing up for that). GBP is at its best when molding clients with some sense of maturity, regardless of age. I say that because the music I do here, while being cool, is thought provoking, fun and true to the spirit without being abrasive. My philosophy is that you can have an enjoyable time with music while still respecting the art and being true to yourself.

GBP/K.Son material can be found on several independent films and documentaries including 50/50, The Passerby (my first lead acting role as well) and Alzheimer’s: Untold. GBP is also heard on Air Mauritius Airlines and Colours TV on Dish Network.

Music here is not only heard but felt.
