So far, the best cd released by an Albuquerque local band.
Best song to start the cd off with. Very energetic-sounding, and gets you into listening to the rest of the cd. 2nd song keeps up the energy, so does the next, Stop. That has to be ONE of my favorites, I love the guitar in it. Not Real turns down the energy a bit, but keeps it up enough to keep on rockin' out. Unkept. My absolute favorite. The drums, the guitar, the bass, and Steve's voice all sounds AMAZING. I love it. I love the chorus of the next song, Krigh. Goooooooood song. Flounder Piano, one of the best instrumentals I've EVER heard. Overall an amazing cd. Really good for their first one out. It will forever be one of my top albums.

I have not stopped listening to this CD since i got it!!
This cd is unbelievable! TGB can definitely hold their own with the big dogs out there in the metal world. The guitar riffs on songs such as Betrayal of a Friend & Stop are catchy and well reconizeable. The vocals are outstanding with the unique warmth and tamber easily distictive from others out there. My personal faviorate is Unkept. Its beautifuly written with instramentation to back it up. It will easily be stuck in your head for days. I am in love with this cd and cannot wait for the follow up!

This CD RIPS!!!
I absolutely LOVE this CD!! I've told all my friends about it. Can't get the song "Betrayal of a friend" out of my head. This CD is definetly one of my new top 5 favorites. If you pass this one up, you're definetly losing out on some good good music!!

With influences that are heard but not overbearing. This album rocks!
When I first bought the album I thought I was being ripped off. After all the album has only 7 songs. But the few tracks is its only downfall. When you sit down to listen to it the first time you fall immediately in love the the melodic tracks and the rock influcened rips and lyrical stylings. "Change" is reminescent of The Spooky Kids albums without the political agenda. "Stop"'s introduction hints at System of a Down in the guitar riffs and loud distortion. But it was really "Unkept" that got me. Everytime I hear this song it sends me into a trace, or memory-like state. This song reminds me of Staind but puts their music to shame in the sense that there is a progression of music from this trace-like state into a song that would perfectly fit into a Lynch or Tarintino movie where the main character is killing themself in an overly dramatic way, simply to prove a point. The mastering of the album was mainstream quality with low grittyness unless intended. The Ground Beneath's album and anything but a rip off, I could only ask that there were more songs. It is safe to say that The Ground Beneath is now broken through and this band will be a force to be tangled with in the future of rock music.

I Still love that song "Krigh". Anyway, I overeall love the Album. You guys are seriously keeping Metal alive in New Mexico, and I think that rocks. You guys have a true talent, don't let go of it because I'm sure soon you guys are going to make it big. You're already known around Albuquerque. Anyway, Again, I think its awesome. Nice work, and continue kicking ass!!

Hope For Albuquerque
I thought their was no good music to be found in Albuquerque, but TGB taught me otherwise. Keep up the amazing music, you've restored my faith in New Mexico!!!
