'grounded' was conceived in 2002 in an effort to bring uplifting music to the local scene. this seven-piece band features well-meshed vocal harmonies and a full band sound. although the lead vocal is passed around freely to keep things from getting stale, the sound is consistently 'grounded'.

their combined interest is to offer a highly musical sound that is lyrically thought provoking. these original tunes reach way down into your soul- they'll keep you humming and whistling throughout the day.

tracks from this self-titled, debut CD range from straight-ahead rockin' jams like 2000 years, to the junkyard-blues feel of temptation, and powerful rock ballads like bridges. this disc captures many styles yet it ties them all together nicely with their overall theme of 'music with a positive message'. there is something for everyone in this package.

produced, recorded, and mixed by daoud shaw (etta james, jerry garcia, van morrison), of radioactive productions in philadelphia, this CD is a good representation of the genuine heart behind these players. the disc was mastered at foothill digital in new york, further giving it a truly polished and professional sound.
