MELODIC, HARMONIC, MEMORABLE, AND ENGAGING
author: MARCELLA THESING- HAZARD
I AM AWAITING THE BACK-ORDERED CD, BUT THE FIRST 4 SONGS , ESPECIALLY YESTERDAY WAS CHRISTMAS, TOOK ME ON A SOULFUL JOURNEY BACK TO THE 1970'S WHEN I KNEW THESE TALENTED, SPECIAL MEN. IT HAS BEEN 30+ YEARS SINCE I HAVE HEARD THEIR VOICES, YET I STILL FEEL AS IF I WAS RIGHT THERE BESIDE THEM, JOINING IN.I CAN'T SAY THAT ABOUT ANY CD I HAVE HEARD...THIS ONE IS A GEM. LOVE, MRS. Gentle mix of old gospel/country and new
author: Mark
Reminiscent of the 70's sound of Seals and Crofts with the melodic blend of guitar and mandolin. Gentle mix of old gospel/country and new . "Patrick" speaks volumes about the disposable generation of children today. The harmony between Carl and Cary is a soothing alternative in stark contrast to today's high energy "praise and worship" songs. "Yesterday Was Christmas" brings to mind Gordon Lightfoot and his story-telling gifts. "It Is Well With My Soul" evokes the sadness and strength of the author who gives credit to the Author of Life. Looking forward to the next release.
