Very rare and obscure piece of Italian jazz that is highly sought after in the record collectors world. It is the first of a 3 album reissue series from Gruppo Jazz Marca which will lead to exciting new collaborations between the GJM musicians, and modern artists from the nu-jazz and broken beats worlds.

The record was originally discovered by a DJ from Big Bang, who played it to Jurgen from Jazzanova right there in the shop – he totally freaked out when he heard the tracks. It caused such a stir that led to a chase to reissue the record as the original trio had long since disbanded. Here it is in all it’s original glory, still sounding as fresh and inspired as the day it was recorded back in 1981, when pianist Roberto Magris was just 22 years old.

The few collectors that have been able to get hold of this record have been blown away by the feel of this killing rhythm trio. It will definitely be a treasure in the usual suspects’ collections.
