Fueled by rich and unusual instrumentation, the gifted musicians of G-squared extract unanticipated life from an eclectic selection of Be-Bop, Ballads and progressive Jazz classics. Through edgy re-interpretations and a sensual use of duos, trios, and quartets, the coupling of mellow elegance with energy-spiked displays of technique carry listeners through the skilled, powerful yet delicate, energetic and articulate world of G-squared.
Birthed in the Seattle lounge and studio scene, G-squared commingles a breadth of styles - Salsa, Fusion, Big Band, R&B, and World. G-squared brings their international performance experience to each of the recording's interpretations. Embracing cultural experiences across the US, Europe and Asia, the group's newest CD release "234" assures listeners that the bottom line for this group is that the music is more important than any bios. That what really matters is that great music gets made , and "who" makes it is secondary.
G-squared is about sound. First and always. Layering textures onto sensual acoustics - tenor n' bass, tenor, bass, n' drums, or voice n' bass -- a ménage-a-quartre of genres and musicians embodied through acoustic drums, bass, saxophone, and female vocals.
Need more? Have a burning desire to break into the cast and characters of G-squared, past the veil of the unknown? Check out our website (www.g-2.biz) where you'll find bios, dates, interesting info, and some very cool gear....really!

The band itself is edgy and extraordinary, the crack rhythm unit of drum & bass, sax and voice. G-squared in retrospect, hit every note perfect, breathe fresh air into each piece that moves inexorably towards its destiny...
