REVIEW "Angels Calling"
From the first note of the title track, you know GTO's music is going to be different. Different from what rock is now. The music reminds me of 70s- early 80s rock and features superb vocals from the singer, Taylor.
Inside the disk on the back of the insert GTO claims "This album is the reflection of memories, the way hard rock music once was" and I'm so glad they didn't disappoint.
The rocking electric guitars with Taylor's smooth, slick vocals makes for a great combination. It seems nobody makes music like this anymore and it's a shame.
When they have to, GTO go's back to simpler times before all that "I hate myself", "my life sucks", "lets be angry" era. No over exaggerating, and thank god no screaming and bitchy whining.
So this may not be lyrical genius; one can only take so much complexity. The music is fun and I think with GTO it's more about the music and that's refreshing.
This is one of those records I'd highly enjoy in the car or on a beach. It really reminds me of older rock ... the kind I loved as a kid. This brings it all back.
**Also, the CD itself is quite cool. It looks exactly like a mini record with the black lines and everything.

Though I love the whole CD, My personal fav is angels calling, and I agree with another review, that great music and sexiness go great together and Taylor is as hot as GTO's music!!! Keep the great music comming to us!

Good rock, cool rock!

When rock is good you feel good. And good rock and sexy ladies are the right blend. And in GTO we have all this in the same band: Taylor is an amazing sexy beauty and a talented artist and the band is tight and cool. The music has the power of good classic rock but also the charm of the modern one, which completes the opera. Cool rock, good rock, I highly recommend it! :-)

It doesn't get better than this!!

Alright rockers, if you don't own this disc your just cheating yourself. Probably the finest indie release ever....end of story. Taylor and the guys tear it up all over this album, great guitar that reminds you of times of George Lynch playing the greatest songs of The Steve Miller Band. Taylors vocals remind you of Stevie Nicks for a moment then Darby Mills, Great songs, grooves and musicianship all the way around. Put this on, crank it up, and get on down the road. It doesn't get better than this. Angels Calling is a classic!
